About the Clover High
School Choraliers
The Clover High School Choraliers
were established in 1994 under the direction of Mr. Forrest. The
Choraliers are a 100-voice SATB choir composed of sophomores,
juniors, and seniors. One of the trade marks of this organization
is the wide variety of literature they perform. The Choraliers
perform classical literature and master works as well as Jazz and
show tunes.
A musical
review of Broadway shows has become a spring tradition in the
Choraliers. The Choraliers have been honored performers for the
South Carolina State Administrators Conference, the South Carolina
School Board Conference, the National Education Association South
Carolina Conference, and the Governor of South Carolina.
Traveling
and competition is a big part of the Choraliers annual agenda. They
have performed and competed in Orlando, Atlanta, Williamsburg, New
York, and The Bahamas. The Choraliers have received special
recognition for holding the highest annual scoring in two
competitions. Universal Studios, 1999-2000 season and Royal
Carribean Cruise Line, 2000-2001 season.
