Summer School
2004
Summer
School will be held at Clover High School June 1 through July 13,
2004, with July 14 and 15 as make-up days for students who are
tardy or absent (classes will not meet on Monday July 5th).
Classes are from 7:45 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday. This
includes a 15-minute break.
Driver Education will begin on June 1 with class/simulator
instruction. Individual driving appointments will be scheduled.
Students must be 15 years old upon enrollment. Only 36
students can be accommodated in the summer school driver education
class.
In
order for a class to be offered in summer school at least 10
students must sign up for the course. The following courses
may be offered during summer school 2004 at Clover High School:

Algebra IA

Algebra 1B
-
English I
-
English II
-
English III
-
Driver Education
All
missed class work and time for tardies and absences must be made
up. A student may miss no more than two class periods and still
receive credit.
The
deadline for turning in applications is May 28th.
Tuition is $250 per course. Fifty percent of summer school
tuition is due by June 1st and the final payment must be paid by
June 22nd.
The
only tuition refund will be for an illness certified by a
physician. This refund will only be granted within the first five
days of summer school. Twenty percent of said refund will be
retained by Clover School District.
